Who we are and what we believe

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Michigan District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. We seek to gain people for God, gather around Word and Sacrament, and grow in Christ!

We believe that no one can out-sin the grace of God. God the Father sent His Son, Jesus, to save everyone. The salvation He accomplished for us on the cross is Good News to be shared with all people. In gathering around God’s Word and the sacraments, Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, we are strengthened to do just that, share the Good News of salvation found only in Jesus. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, God will enable us to gain people for His Kingdom.
