Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

What to Expect

We offer in person worship, worship from your car in our parking lot over the radio and facebook livestream coming soon.

What should I wear?

We do not have a dress code. We are just happy to have you with you us. You will see people in jeans, business casual, and casual attire.

What is a typical service like?

Every service includes a combination of Bible readings, a time of corporate confession and absolution, prayers, as well as a sermon, an offering and Holy Communion every other week (2nd and 4th Sundays).  A typical service lasts for about an hour.

Bulletins are available with the entire service outlined so that you may easily follow it.

What about kids?

Children are important to us and welcome in worship.

Do I need to participate in the service?

We welcome guests to participate in the service, although how much is completely up to you.

Will I be able to take Holy Communion?

We believe that the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ all present in, with and under the bread and wine of the sacrament, and that in the sacrament we receive forgiveness of sins, life and salvation. All communing Lutherans are invited to the Lord’s Supper.  If you are not a communing Lutheran, we ask you to speak to our pastor or a lay minister prior to the service. During COVID, only individual cups are offered, and communion is served touch free.
